Every man has a dream, its something we all need
but A dream remains a dream if not achieved
A vision is only a vision if not fulfilled
A mission is mere a mission if stays dormant
Take a step, move forward be bold and fervent
Easy to utter and verbalize
Becomes a power house when you internalize
Dream with action creates momentum
Act on it give yourself an ultimatum
Subconscious mind is a place to be
Where HE resides, HIS image you see
Be proud have pride, it brings dignity
Follow your heart, love & care, it is road to immortality
A man is just a man without substance
A man with substance has compliance
Death with a dream brings eternal peace
Body remains here soul you release
Think it,Do it

Conversation with god
Posted by Tanmay Prabhudesai Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:41 AM
Ok I know my blog has too many poems but I cant help it..i just love writing poems.. :)
Here is another one..I just closed my heart and the words started to flow on their own..So this is a poem from my heart with no help from my brain at all.. ^_^
In the distance
I could see,
a soul was walking
towards me.
As it came near
it grabbed my hand,
and took me on a journey
to a foreign land.
A land so twisted
I wanted to scream,
I wanted to wakeup
wishing this to be just a dream
But nothing I did seemed to help,
the soul took me deeper and deeper
it took me to an abandoned house,
where I believe people once dwelled
there was broken furniture all around,
blood on the walls and on the ground
as I entered a room I was shocked,
in a bloody cradle,i saw a teddy with its head chopped off.
I stood there aghast
I was blank as a rock,
who could do such a thing?
If not for devil himself.
With tears in my eyes
and with little courage left inside
I dared to ask the soul,
what evil has sent this family to the other side?
With questions running in my head,
without waiting for an answer I asked again,
what horrid place have you brought me to?
What I see, do you see it too?
Calm as a spring time breeze
the soul looked at me and said,
this my child,
is the future of mankind.
What?I was shocked,
tell me who are thee I asked
I know you are not just a soul,
you are something much more
I am the sun,the soul replied
I am the moon,I am a flower in its full bloom,
I am Buddha,I am Ram,I am Jesus and Allah,
I my child,I am God
This must all look so queer,
you may wonder why I got you here,
but its just not you,I have come in everyone's vision,
and showed them how this world was moving towards destruction.
For ages now,
men have fought over me,
claiming my one name is grater than the other,
and have landed themselves in this catastrophe,
You go to temples and churches in search of me,
you search for me in every part,
but why don't you just close your eyes and look inside,
I am present in every heart.
I wanted to ask so much more,
but at last,I found myself on the bedroom floor,
was this just another dream?
Or was this the harsh reality?
War is not the answer we seek,
its meditation, which will lead us to peace,
so,now every time I close my eyes and look inside,
I find God sitting right beside.

Over you!!
Posted by Tanmay Prabhudesai Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11:34 AM
My heart was broken quite in two,
Without any thanks to you.
It was damaged from the start,
And then you chose for us to part.
I trusted and believed in you,
We danced the dance that lovers do.
Life twisted, turned, was out of control--
Like a roller coaster on a spiral roll.
The faith I had in you was destroyed,
For with my heart you played and toyed.
You could not honest and truthful be--
You killed the love that I had in me.
Through trials, turmoil, hurt and pain,
Out of the sunshine had come the rain.
It had drenched me, dampened my soul
Like a nasty, blistering, festering boil.
But out of the darkness has come the light
I’m blessed with wisdom and foresight.
My eyes opened; I see you as you truly are.
You are not a bright and shining star.
My friends have surrounded me with love,
And I have had help from God up above.
Each day will be better than the day before,
Thanks for leaving and opening that door.

Getting Crushed
Posted by Tanmay Prabhudesai Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 10:25 PM
Self-serve the ambient state of mind
scrape clean the plate, leave nothing behind
childhood nostalgia, eats through the numb
sounds of unknown origin, take your soul and run
conflict of interest, and conflict of heart
a leashed and lavished absence, tears me apart
hard enough to crush me, still keeping me alive
split and spilt out upon this concrete falling sky
a solid thought floats through me, then it dissipates
leaving me empty-alone, to dine with the fates
I fear that I will wake, before you reach in past my eyes
As I find myself afraid, awake and dreaming lies

The day I will stop loving you
Posted by Tanmay Prabhudesai at 1:27 PM
When the angels in heaven lose their wings
all the joy heaven brings
"That'll be the day I'll stop loving you"
When there's no clouds in the sky
and no one knows why
"That's the day I'll stop loving"
When all the trees fall
and there's no shade at all
"That's the day I'll stop loving you"
When there's no beat in my heart
and the love we share falls apart
"That's the day I'll stop loving you"
..but until that day I love you!
With you forever
My heart's like a lock, and you have the key,
Thus wherever you go, there goes a part of me.
In my heart you'll find happiness and love,
I know in your heart I've found the above.
On the outside of my heart your name is engraved,
And a special part of you has forever been saved.
You will always be part of my warm, kind heart,
But throw away the key and you'll break it apart.
I don't have to worry cause I know you will never,
And together we'll stay, together forever.

You and only You
Posted by Tanmay Prabhudesai at 12:18 AM

I knew from the beginning, that you were just a flirt,
And yes I fell in love with you knowing I'd get hurt.
I thought that I could tie you down and make you love just one,
But how could I do something no one else had ever done?
I know you'll never love me and I'm trying not to cry,
For I must find the strength somehow to kiss your lips good-bye.
When you ask me for my love again you'll find I wont be there,
I want a love to call my own, no one I'll have to share.
So I will hide my broken heart beneath my laughing face.
And though you thought I never cared, no one else can take your place.

The Power Of Love
Posted by Tanmay Prabhudesai Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 9:42 PM
love can be the most powerful thing, it's
what creates all people, it's what makes our
hearts sing, the love in a smile can keep
us warm on a cold night, it can heal all wounds,
after a terrible fight, it can conquer our
enemies, if we dare not to hate, it can
make us confused, as we first start to
date,it can make one happy, it can make one
sad, it can make us all great parents, a
mother, a dad. love never is jealous, love
never does lie, love makes us rejoice, love
makes us cry. without love in our hearts, our
souls, and our life, the world is sure to
perish, from hatered and strife.

Shoes
Tiny monuments of bronze,
impervious to human touch,
yet touching everything human;
Pink fabric stained and torn,
forlorn, abandoned testaments
to a dancer's dreams of fame;
Voices raised in harmonic jubilance -
"I got shoes - you got shoes -
All God's Chillun got shoes!"
Yet, we can see them still,
piled high outside Hell's entrance -
Auschwitz, Dachau, Bergen-Belsen. . .
A mountaineer puts them on
to try and touch the sky;
A firewalker takes them off -
to mock the power of fire.
A soldier spits on a humble rag,
and magic mirrors reflect his face
to the sound of drums and glory.
Mercury, they say, had wings on his,
but then they had to put 'em to his hat too,
just to fix the mistake and keep him upright.
Willy Loman could tell you:
With a smile, some polish, and a longer life,
they could be engines of miracles!
Sometimes, when you're down on your luck,
they're the only ride in town
to get you where you're going.
Goodwill gets 'em free and sells 'em cheap;
But Saks can make you a potentate
from the ankles down.
But the chorus just keeps on singing anyway -
"When I get to Heb'n, gonna put on my shoes,
I'm gonna walk all over God's Heb'n. . . Heb'n. . . "
